During the well flow test inspection at the above subject
property I found that 2 wells were drilled, your employee
indicated that the first one was abandoned at approx. 240*.
Orono Municipal Code requires a separate permit and inspections
for well abandonment. The MN Department of Health also requires
an abandoned well report. The information given should include
all data that is known about the water level, casing schedule,
geology, method of sealing, volume and type of grout used. A
copy of this should also be provided for the City. At this point
we must require you to expose the first 10* of the abandon well
for inspection purposes. Twentyfour hour notice must be given.
In the future the inspection staff must be informed of all
abandoned wells. Please take care of these items as soon as
possible. If you have any questions feel free to call Mike
