A DRAINAGE Ai�'D U'TILITY EASE�iENT
`VITHIN THE PLAT OF SUGAR WOODS,
SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 118 RANGE 23
IN THE CITY OF ORONO, �1INNESOTA

�VHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing
under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, on August 27, 1993, Sidney and Barbara Rebers filed a petition with
the City of Orono requesting the vacation of a drainage and utility easement ori�inally dedicated
in the plat of Sugar Woods, legally described as follows:
All that part of the 30' wide draina�e and utility easement in Outlot F, Sugar Woods,
according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Registrar of T`itle,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying northerly of a line drawn parallel and concentric
with and distant 30' northerly from the southerly line of said Outlot F; and
WHEREAS, after due published and posted notice, a public hearing was held
before the City Planning Commission on September 20, 1993, regarding said vacation and all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and
`VHEREAS, after due standing and consideration, the Planning Commission
recommend approval of the proposed vacation and the Council of the City of Urono finds that
said vacation as proposed is in keeping �vith the public interest and in consideration of the
following findings:
1. The City does not intend to expand additional municipal sewer lines within the
30' easement area.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the petition of Barbara and
Sidney Rebers is hereby granted and that the drainage and utility easement legally described
above is� hereby vacated subject to the condition that applicants file drainage and utility
easements over existing sewer line that serves the Sugar Woods Plat.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota, at a regular
meeting held on October 11, 1993. �
