Mr. and Mrs. Tom Navratil, v;ho now reside in Minneapolis,
hove purchased two 50-foot lots which face Frederick Street.
T^ey received approval for a building permit April 28, and
lave also requested the Council to relocate the existing
street to its platted location.
Relocating this part of Frederick Street does present some
problems such as new fill, gravel base, blacktop, removing
nine trees, one garage, fifteen stumps, relocating a power
pole, and readjusting a lift station. At this time 1 have
not estimated the cost for this project.
Frederick Street has not changed as far as location is
concerned for many years before I960. When sanitary sewer
was Installed in 1964 the grade at the top of the hill was
lowered somewhat, but the location of the street remained
unchanged.
Further preliminary studies on this project will require
surveying and cost estimates.
