A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THAT THE
PART-TIlVIE POSITION HELD BY
NEAL MELTON
IS THAT OF A POLICE OFFICER

WHEREAS, the Public Employees Retirement Association Police and Fire Fund
excludes part-time police off'icers unless a resolution is adopted by the governing body to
establish eligibility for coverage in the Police and Fire fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota that effective November 7, 1994, the position Neal Melton
holds is that of a police officer as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 353.64, Subdivision
, �^,�2, pursuant to which said employee shall become a member of the Public Employees Retirement
���,ation Police and Fire Fund. �
