A RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION TO CHARLOTTE KNUTSON �
UPON HER RETIREMENT FROM THE CITY OF ORONO AND
DECLARING JULY 8, 1994 AS CHARLOTTE KNUTSON DAY
WI�REAS, Charlotte Knutson has served the City of Orono with loyalty and
dedication for a total of twenty years, four months within the Finance Department, including the
positions of fmance clerk, senior accounting clerk, and deputy treasurer; serving as the deputy
treasurer from December 15, 1986 to the present; and
WI-�REAS, Charlotte Knutson's performance of her duties and responsibilities
was always characterized by a professional attitude and a dedication to her job, and
WFIEREAS, Charlotte Knutson has decided to retire from her position with the
� Ciry.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the Ciry
of Orono does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to Charlotte Knutson for the
commendable manner in which she has carried out her duties as a member of the City staff, and
does wish her a long, happy, and fulfilling retirement; and
FLTRTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that July 8, 1994 is declared Charlotte Knutson
Day in honor of her many years of dedicated service.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting
held June 27, 1994.
