Subject:Concerned resident on current neighbors rebuild of hill
Date:Monday, July 24, 2023 2:04:19 PM
We attended the mtg this spring when we were concerned how they were restoring the hill.
I had a chance to see if from the lake this winter snowshoeing and could not believe all the
tiers that were put in.
My understanding is they had a stop work order and needed to correct the mistakes that were
made because they were just going rogue and not abiding by their engineers design.
To hear from other neighbors that live next to them that now they have continued to not fix the
hilland focused on building up a boathouse below is really going rogue and not abiding by the
city rules and regulations.
We all do and to have someone move into the neighborhood that thinks they live by a second
set of rules and ignore the stop build is reckless.
In light of this, they should have to start over and build it correctly with insight from how to
put more conservation efforts toward rebuilding the hill better than before.
The Baileys a couple doors down did exactly that. They fortified the hill with trees and
planting that look natural and not an eye-sore of what 2815 did.
HHas there been any oversight after they had a stop order?
