EsK A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING AWARD OF
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR
OLD CRYST.�,,L BAY ROAD BRIDGE
OVER BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD
FILE NO. 13953
� WHEREAS, bids for construction of the Old Crystal Bay Road Bridge,
Bridge No. 27680, S.P. 152-102-10, were received and opened on May 19, 1994, at
10:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, bids were received from C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc.,
Lunda Construction, Inc., Progressive Contractors, Inc., and Structural Specialties, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the low bid was submitted by Lunda Construction, Inc., in the
amount of $499,751.00;
• NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Orono hereby recommends that the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of
Transportation award a contract to Lunda Construction, Inc., for construction of Bridge
No. 27680, Old Crystal Bay Road over Burlington Northern Railroad. Dated this 23rd day
of May, 1994.
