Type of System. 25.0 minutes per inch for the primary site(holes 1-4) Standard system. 2. Proposed Flow Rate. 4 bedrooms @ 150 GPD is 600 GPD. 3. Soil Treatment Area Required. 1.67 percolation rate factor x 600 GPD is 1000 Sq. Ft. minimum. 4. Size and Number of Trenches. 4 trenches 3 feet wide and 83.3 feet long is 1000 So. Ft These trenches would be spaced a minimum of 7.5 feet apart center to center and be 2-3 feet deep in the natural soil. 5. Drainfield Rock Needed. yards of rock is needed to have 12 inches under and 2 inches over a 4 inch distribution pipe. 6. Septic Tanks. ‘“OO gallons are needed. It appears that a third pumping tank and pump will not be needed.
