RE: Application Review Timing #LA20-000005
On January 10, 2020, the City of Orono received your application for after-the-fact variances for 2665
Casco Point Road, in Orono. Your application was determined to be complete on January 23rd, and was
heard by the Planning Commission at a public hearing on Tuesday, February 18th.
Due to the timing of potential final Council action on your request falling after the 60-day review period,
the City hereby notifies you that it is extending the time period for City action under Minn. Stat. § 15.99,
subd. 3(f). The initial 60-day period would end on March 23rd; the time period is now hereby extended
until May 22, 2020. This is a routine extension; there is no change to the upcoming scheduled meeting.
Your application is scheduled for a first review by the City Council this Monday, March 9th as planned.
You will receive a staff report and agenda prior to this meeting. Please let me know if you have any
questions.
