REQUEST FOR FURTHER INFORMATION
Mr. Vogstrom,
The City of Orono is required to notify you within fifteen (15) business days as to the status of your application
for a vacation. Below is a list of items the City of Orono is requesting to complete our review and consider your
application complete:
1. My understanding is you wish to vacate the right of way adjacent to your property. Please provide a
written narrative of why the city should vacate this right of way.
2. Certified Property Owners List. Certified list of property owners within 350 feet of the subject property,
labels and plat map must be submitted. The list, labels and map may be obtained by following the
instruction sheet attached.
Application #17-3983 is incomplete. If you wish to proceed with your application please submit the items
requested above as soon as possible. Vacation of right of way leading to or adjacent to Lake Minnetonka
requires DNR review. The DNR requires 60 days of review prior to the public hearing. Once I’ve reviewed your
written narrative, I will submit the information to the DNR for their review, and the public hearing will be
scheduled the next available Planning Commission meeting, assuming the mailing labels have been recieved.
