A RESOLUTION T�RMINATING THE CITY'S MEMBEI2SHIP
IN M�tESOTA POLICE REC�ZUITli�iENT SYSTEM (1�IPRS)
WIi�REAS, the city has been a member of the Minnesota Police Recruitment
� System (MPRS), and
WHEREAS, the city has determined that its membership in MPRS should be
� terminated, and
WHEREAS,the MPRS joint powers agreement requires that notice of termination
�e•accompanied by a resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE BE I� RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does
hereby terminate its membership in the MPRS. This terinination to be effective December 14,
� 1994, which is the date of the city's written notice of withdrawal from the MPRS. �
. Adopted by the City Council at a regular Council meeting held January 9, 1995.
