BY THE CITY OF OROI�TO
. �"-� WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing
under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 282, the City has received from
Hennepin County a list of lands within the City which have become the properry of the Sta.te of
�- ��Iinnesota•for non-payment of real estate taxes; and
' . �:•'.WHEREAS, the°City Council has reviewed,said lands for°compliance with local
� .`zoning c�rdinances,�for the amount:of`outstanding' special assessment remaining unpaid to the
' � i�City, and/or for possible public use by the City as authorized by the statutes.
•"�"�� �. � �10W, THER�FORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
� Orono, pursuant°to Minnesota Statute Section 282.01, Subdi�ision 1, hereby applies to the
Hennepin County Board of Commissioners and to the Commissioner of Revenue for�onveyance
of the following tax forfeited land to the City for public use by the Ciry of Orono.
