The City of Orono is required to notify you within ten (10) business days as to the status of your
application. The following information is required before we can proceed with your request for a
Preliminary Plat.
1. Fees in the amount of $350 for the variance application.
2. 2 original, signed surveys to show the proposed improvements on the property. The
survey submitted does indicate the existing conditions on the property. Mr. Danberry
has provided a sketch showing the proposed construction. We do require the
surveyor complete this work. The survey shall also indicate any proposed changes
to the topography, building dimensions, and setbacks to all property lines.
3. Certified property owners list of all property owners within 15 O' of your property and
plat map, labels and plat map can be obtained by contacting Hennepin County at
(612) 348-5910.

Finance, A-603, Govt Center, 348-5910).
Certificate of Survey (signed by a licensed surveyor) and include hardcover
calculations as required. In addition, provide one (1) copy 8 ½" x 11" for
reproduction.
Topographic survey (existing and proposed elevations) if any changes in existing
grade are proposed. In addition, provide one (1) copy 8½" x 11" for reproduction.
Sketches or plans of floor & elevation views (provide one (1) copy 8½" x 11 ").
Lis~ of the legal names (include marital status) of all persons with an interest in
the property. This would include name(s) of applicant(s) if not current owner(s).
As an addendum to this application, please attach a separate list of any other
persons you wish notified of this application.
Additional items as may be requested by City staff.
The Applicant and Property Owner must sign this application. Please remember that your
variance application is not complete if the above information has not been included.
