A RESOLUTION REQUESTING
� DELAY OF T�IE PLT�I.IC SALE -
OF,7CA.X FORFEI'I' LA.ND

. WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing
under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WH�REAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282, the City -has received from �
Hennepin County a list of lands within the City which have become the property of the State of
Minnesota for non-payment of real estate taxes; and
'WIiEREAS, this parcel was owne�l by the Lafayette Rad�e Homeowners
� � Association as an open space outlot, and was used for area credit for the subdivision, and
tiVHEREAS, the city is pursuing the possibility of this parcel bEin� repurchased
by the Lafayette Ridge Homeowners Association. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESO�VED that the City Council of the City of ,
Orono, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282, hereby requests delay of the public sale of said
property by Hennepin County for a period of 6 months from the adoption date of this resolution
in order to provide the Ciry the additional time required to resolve questions surrounding the
repurchase of the property by the Lafayette Ridge Homeowners Association.
Adopted by the Cifiy Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting
held the 12th day of December, 1994, by a vote.of 3 ayes and p nays.
