RE: Septic System Repairs
Dear Mr. Olson:
Your septic system was la: nspected by me on August 17, 1982,
and at that time was founQ _o be discharging to the ground
surface. You were issued orders to have the system repaired
within 90 days. My files indicate no permit has been issued
for repairs, and I presume no work has been done yet.
This is to inform you that on or about April 1, 1983, I will
reinspect your system and if it is still failing at that time
I will issue final orders to repair within 90 days.
If at the end of that time you have failed to comply, citations
will be issued and the matter will be referred to the City
prosecuting attorney for appropriate legal action.
Where additional or replacement drainfield is required, a site
evaluation and design proposal must be submitted before a repair
permit can be issued. Please feel free to contact me for further
information and site evaluation requirements.
