An inspection of your septic s}'stem was conducted on Mac 9, 2000. A summan• of the inspection is
below.
Septic Tank Condition
I. Pumpout needed within one year (last pumpout unknown).
The septic system is non -compliant due to a lack of a three foot separation distance between the bottom
of the drainfield to the se;uonall• high watertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code, not a Cite
Code. A soil boring was conducted to determine the depth of the seasonally watertable. The septic
system mu replaced no later than December 31, 2010.
Enclosed is u list of stave licensed septic contractors who work in Orono on a regular basis. Also
enclosed is a fact sheet explaining how a septic s}•stem functions properly. Finally-, an as -built dra%�ing
is enclosed that shows the approximate location of the septic system.
