SITE EVALUATION REPORT

On May 17, 1980 six percolation holes were tested and
three soil borings taken. The percolation holes were dug 6
inches in diameter to a 42 inch depth. The soil borings were
dug 6 inches in diameter to the 4 foot depth and 3 inches in
diameter to the remaining depth by hand augers.
The average percolation rate for the four holes in the
primary drainf ield site was 21.5 minutes per inch. This rate,
along with the lack of a high water table would enable this
site to most the requirements for a standard drainf ield. There
is a topographical problem which will require the trenches to
be constructed in a v-shape in order to remain relatively level
for the entire length of the trench.
The alternate site also meets the requirements for a stan-
dard drainfield system. However, this area is higher than the
probable building site so a pump would nos. likely need to be
used in this situation.
More information concerning the design of the system will
be needed once the size and location of the house are known.If
