RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL �

RECEIVING A FEASIBILITY REPORT
AND CALL•ING A PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER A CARMAN BAY SEWER PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Resolution #1503 adopted
July 11 , 1983, a feasibility report has been prepared by the City
Engineer with reference to the improvement of certain prope�=ties on
Carman Street at Carman Bay by installation of municipal sanitary .
sewers , and this report was received by the Council.on August 8 , 1983 .
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Orono :
1 . The Council will consider the construction of such
sanitary sewer in accordance with the report and the
. assessment of abutting or adjacent properties for all
or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes , Chapter 429, �t an estimated total
cost of the improvement of $63 ,500 . �� .
2. A public hear.ing shall be held on such proposed
improvement on Monday, August 22, 1983 , at 7 : DJ0 P.M. in
the Orono Council Chambers at _1275 Brown Road South, and
the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such
� hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono , Minnesota , at a
regular meeting held August 8 , 1983 .
