, � FOR A ROAD NAME
WHEREAS, on February 25, 19E5 , the City Council of Orono
approved Ordinance No. 75 that adopted a plan and system for, the
numbering of residences and .other buildings within the corporate
limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, Michael� G. Pluhm, William Z . Mernik and Franklyn
E. Dailey have petitioned the City for a new road name and address
change; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Orono f 'inds the proposed
improvement to be consistent with the standards of;� Ordinance No. 75
and to benefit the public health, safety and welfare by providing safe
and .easy access to established" residences .
• NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council .of
the City of Orono hereby approves the name Pence Lane and per
Ordinance 75 will require the following address changes: �
� 2710 �r7alters Port Lane to 2710 Pence Lane �
2715 Kelly Avenue to 2715 Pence Lane
2719 Kelly Avenue to 2701 Pence Lane
. Council further directs staff to advise all necessary agencies
of the address changes.
