A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING �
ON NORTH LONG LAKE AND LONG LAKE COUNTRY CLUB
SA1vITARY SEWER IlVIPROVEMENTS
WI�REAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3764 of the Council adopted September
9, 1996, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer in reference to the North Long Lake and
Long Lake Country Club sanitary sewer improvements, and this report was received by the
Council on November 12, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed
project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono,
Minnesota:
• 1. The Council will consider the installation of such sanitary sewer improvement in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of
the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated
total cost of the improvements of$1,049,555.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 13th day of January,
1997 in the Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway, at 7:00 p.m. and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and 'unprovement as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council this 12th day of November, 1996.
