Re: On -Site Septic System at 1960 Fox Ridge Road
Dear Ms. Haislet:
The tanks and drainfield are located very near the water
table. If the drainfield becomes saturated by ground water,
septage would not drain away. While the system appears to be
working very well under current dry conditions (tanks have not
been pumped since 5/6/86), it apparently does not function as
well when soil moisture is high (1981-82 pumping record).
The tanks installed in 1968 might not be ..waled tanks as
currently used. In this case, the tanks themselves might fill
with ground water.
This system t,.- afore should be watched by the homeowner,
and based on pump out record, has a high probability of failure
should high ground water conditions return.
