RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION
WHEREAS,the city of Orono is authorized by Minn. Stat.465.03 to accept donations of property
for the benefit of its people and is specifically authorized to accept gifts; and
WHEREAS, Strohman Enterprise Inc. has made a donation to the Orono Police Department; and

WHEREAS,the value of this donation is $700.00; and
WHEREAS,the donation has been donated to Orono for the benefit of its residents; and
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donation.
RESOLVED that the Orono City Council gratefully accepts the donation of a chronograph valued
at$700.00.
FURTHER, police department staff will acknowledge receipt of the donation and express
appreciation to Strohman Enterprise Inc..
Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on April 13, 2026.
