RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY PLAN ADJUSTMENTS FOR
� NON-LTNION CITY EMPLOYEES FOR 1998
VVHEREAS, the City Administrator is responsible for annually presenting a pay schedule
for city employees, with the exception of employees covered by collective bargaining agreements:

� WHEREAS, the City Administrator has presented tYie City Council with said pay schedule
for calendar and budget year 1998 which pay schedule is attached hereto and hereby made a part
of this resolution; and ' �
WI�REAS, su�cient funds have been appropriated in the proposed 1998 Annual Budget
• to fund the recommended pay schedule and such other matters of compensation as herein
specified.
, . NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Orono Ciry Council as follows:

1. That the 1998 employee pay schedule, reflecting a 3.0% pay adjustment, attached
� hereto and.made a part thereof, is approved.
2. That the city's contribution toward the cost of employee health insurance increase to
a maximum of$328.50 per month. , .
� 3. That city employees using their own vehicles for approved work.related business shall
be compensated at a rate of$.32 per mile. �
