Location: City of Orono, Sec 7ABC, channel off Forest Lake, Lake Minnetonka.
Purpose: Dredge to remove 6UU cubic yards of soil to provide navigational
access and 145 lineal feet of rip rap shoreline erosion protection.
Dear Mr. Daugherty:
At the regularly scheduled December 17, 1987 meeting of the Board of Managers,
the subject permit application was reviewed along with the following exhibits:
1. Permit application no. 87-81, received April 23, 1987.
2. Typical cross section and plans for the project, prepared by C. Reep,
dated April 16, 1987.
3. DNR permit application.
4. Permit no. 87-63U6 issued by the DNR dated July 13, 1987.
5. Revised plan extending the bottom limit of dredging to 924.4 and increasing
the volume of material removed to 106U cubic yards prepared by Clifford
Reep, dated November 11, 1987.
6. Letter from Clifford Reep to the District requesting amendment to Permit
No. 87-81.
7. Amendment to DNR Permit No. t37-63U6 received December 29, 190.
7lie Board approved the permit amendment.
This document is your permit from the MCWD. It is valid for one (1) year. If
construction is not complete within one (1) year, an extension trust be
requested. Please contact the District at 473-4224 when the project is about
to cotomence so an inspector may view the work in progress.
