A RESOI.UTION DECI.A1tING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
. ORIDERING P�PARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMEN'� �
W�E1tEAS, costs have been determined for the improvement of sanitary sewer in the
Shoreline DrivelHeritage Drive and Lane area and the estimated contract price for such improvement is
$267,400.00, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to
$114,600.00 so that the total estimated cost of the improvement will be$382,000.00.
NO�V, T�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIT'Y COUNCY�. O�' ORONO,
MiNNESOTA: .
1. The total cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be
$382,000.00. •
� � � 2. Assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 15
years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in Janua .ry,
1999, and shall bear interest at a maximum rate of 8.0 per cent per annum from the date of
the adoption of the assessment resolution. . _
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the
proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot,
piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the clerk's office for
public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council
thereof. - �
