A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING
APPOINTMENTS TO PARK AND PLANNING COMMISSIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Orono, is authorized by Minn. Stat. 412.501, may have or
continue park board; and
WHEREAS, City Code of Ordinances section 3.08 establishes a Park Commission of
seven members; and
WHEREAS,the City of Orono, is authorized by Minn. Stat. 462.354, may create a
planning agency; and
WHEREAS,City Code of Ordinances section 6.04 establishes a Planning Commission of
seven members; and
WHEREAS,the city council conducted interviews on February 26, 2026; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota new appointments for the Orono Park and Planning Commissions are as follows:
