We visited this site today to complete the As -built requested by the City
which is attached.
There is a current golf cart path running over the top of the drainfield
lines.
The owner wishes to turn this into a paver path. In my professional
opinion if this path is a hard surface such as pavers it will not harm the
drain field lines by driving a golf cart or ATV over the path. The system
has been in for 15 years the soil is all stable and well established,
heavier equipment was driven all over the drain field to backfill it. The
path has been used for a long time and there does not appear to be any
damage to the system and making it a hard surface will just distribute
the weight better protecting the system.
