A RE50LUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION
OF NO PARKING SIGNS AT END OF
LONG LAKE BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal organization under the laws of the State of
Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Long Lake Boulevard is a dead end road with a limited amount of area for
construction of a standard size tumaround at the end of the road; and ,
WHEREAS, vehicles have been parking in this lunited size tumaround area causing .
problems for vehicles that need to use the tumaround; and �
WHEREAS, vehicles parking in the turnaround area will cause difficulties in City snow
•� plowing of this street.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does hereby
authorize and direct the Orono Public Works Department to install No Parking signs in the
� turnaround area at the end of Long Lake Boulevard.
Approved by the Orono Ciry Council at a regular Council meeting held on November.l0,
1997.
