' A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING '
THE CITY OF ORONO TO ENTER INTO A
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH MN/DOT
RELATED TO A NOISE AND VIBRATION STUDY
FOR THE HIGHWAY 12 CORRIDOR PROJECT �
WHEREAS,proposals have been requested from consulting firms for conducting
a noise and vibration study for the Highway 12 corridor; and
WHEREAS, HDR Engineering, Inc. has submitted a proposal for a noise and
vibration study; and
WI�REAS,the proposal has been reviewed by the City of Orono,the City of Long
Lake, and Mn/DOT engineering staff; and
• WHEREAS, HDR Engineering, Inc. has been selected to conduct the noise and
vibration study; and
WIiEREAS,Mn/DOT has agreed to fund the noise and vibration study, and
WHEREAS,this requires a cooperative agreement between Mn/DOT and the City
of Orona
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Orono does hereby authorize the City to enter into a cooperative agreement with MnlDOT related
to the noise and vibration study, and does also hereby authorize the Mayor and City Administrator
to sign the cooperative agreement.
� Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,Minnesota at a regulaz meeting
held this 12th day of October, 1998. �
