Title: Lake Minnetonka Conservation District Updates

Purpose:
The purpose of this item is for the Council and LMCD representative to review LMCD and City
activities and priorities.
2. Background:
The Lake Minnetonka Conservation District (LMCD) is governed by a voluntary Board of
Directors composed of one member appointed by the City Councils of the 14 municipalities that
border Lake Minnetonka. The Board provides direction for the organization, develops policies and
initiatives, and helps build partnerships to carry out the mission of preserving and enhancing the
Lake Minnetonka experience. Mr. Rich Anderson is the director for the city of Orono.
3. Summary:
The proposed agenda for the work session is as follows:

3. LMCD update- recent activities/ initiatives
