A RESOLUTION TO RELEASE TAX FORFEITED
LAND FOR PRIVATE SALE TO ADJACENT OWNERS
WHEREAS,the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and e�cisting under laws
of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS,the parcel known as PID: 10-117-23 21 0002 and legally described as:
Section 10,Township 117 and Range 23 -That part ofNE 1/4 ofNW �

including adjacent 1/2 of street and alley vacated.
became the property of the State of Minnesota.for non-payment of real estate taxes on July 19, 1977, �
and was conveyed to the City of Orono by State Deed No. 161146 on February 8, 1982; and
• WI�REAS,the City has determined the public use for which the parcel was acquired is no �
longer necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Orono
does hereby authorize the re�onveyance of the parcel listed below to the State of Minnesota, and �
approves the public sale of said pazcel of land to adjacent properiy owners; subject to the placement
of a flowage and conservation easement over the entire parcel, and a drainage and utility easement
over the easterly ten feet of the parcel. The parcel to be sold remains subject to applicable zoning
ordinance provisions,including those regulations providing for minunum lot area and minimum lot
width. Substandard parcels may be usable only in combination with other adjoining parcel(s). This �
property does not meet current zoning standazds and is unbuildable.

and directed to sign the Reconveyance of Forfeited Lands to State of Minnesota by Governmental
�� Subdivisions on behalf of the City. � . . .
