A RESOLUTION GRANTING
AN AMENDMENT TO
RESOLUTIONS NO. 4794 AND NO. 5246
FILE NO. 2461
WHEREAS, on April 22, 2002, the City Council of the City of Orono (the "City")
adopted Resolution No. 4794 granting approval for a subdivision of a lot line rearrangement for
properties on Big Island owned by William Bryson and Thelma Bryson and James A. R. Johnson
( collectively 'the applicants'); and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4 794 required that the applicants complete filing of the
lot line rearrangement with Hennepin County no later than October 22, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the applicants were unable to file the subdivision of a lot line
rearrangement within the timeframe allotted due to title issues, which have just recently been
resolved; and
WHEREAS, the Applicants requested an extension of the effective period of
subdivision approval in order that the lot line rearrangement may now be filed, which extension was
granted by the City Council via Resolution No. 5246 adopted November 8, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Applicants have requested a further 6-month extension of the
effective period of subdivision approval due to legal complications which have delayed the filing;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the findings and conditions of Resolution
No. 4794 are still valid and appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Orono, Minnesota, as follows:

Conditions 5 and 7 of Resolution No. 4794 and Condition 1 of Resolution No.
5246 are hereby amend~d to allow filing of the lot line rearrangement with the
Hennepin County Recorders Office or Registrar of Titles Office on or before
October 22, 2005.
