HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 4432 �_ � O ' v • O O . ��b - CITY of URONO � � � G'� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ��kESII�4�' NO. � � s� � LOCAL GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION NAVARRE PARK IMPROVEMENT BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Orono acts as legal sponsor for the project contained in the Outdoor Recreation Grant Program Application to be submitted on March 28,2000 and that Ronald J. Moorse, City Administrator, is hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Natural Resources for funding of this project on behalf of the City of Orono. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Orono has the legal authQrity to apply for financial assistance, and the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure adequate construction,operation,maintenance and replacement of the proposed proj ect for its design life. ` BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Orono has not incurred any costs described on Item 4 and has not entered into any written agreements to purchase property described . in Item 3. � BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Orono has not violated any Federal, State, or Local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or corrupt practice. ' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the state, the Cit3�of Orono may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above-referenced project, and that the City of Orono certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in the grant agreement. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Ronald J. Moorse is hereby � authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant.' � I CERTIFY THAT the above resolution was adopted by the Orono City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota on March 27, 2000. � ATTEST: �� � �p . • Linda S.
