A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF A REQUEST FOR PROJECT
FUNDING FOR THE 2000 URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY CONSOLIDATED POOL
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING
SIGNATURE OF SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY AND
ANY THIRD PARTY AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Orono, through execution of a Joint Cooperation Agreement
with Hennepin County, is cooperating in the Urban Hennepin County Consolidated Pool
Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has developed a proposal for the use of 2000 Urban
Hennepin County Consolidated Pool CDBG funds consistent with identified housing and
community development needs. �
BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Orono authorizes submittal of the
� following proposal to the Urban Hennepin County Consolidated Pool Selection Committee and
recommends inclusion of this proposed project in the 2000 Urban Hennepin County Community
Development Block Grant Program.
Project Funding Request
Navarre Affordable Homeownership Program $64,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Council hereby authorizes and
directs the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the Subrecipient Agreement and any
required Third Party Agreement on behalf of the City to implement the 2000 CDBG �
Program.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting
held on this 28th day of February, 2000.�
