A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING
ON FOX RIDGE SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS,pursuantto ResolutionNo. 4417 ofthe Council adopted January24,
2000, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer in reference to the Fox Ridge sanitary sewer
improvement, and this report was received by the Council on January 24, 2000; and
WHEREAS,the report provides information regarding whether the proposed proj ect
is necessary, cost effective, and feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono,
Minnesota:
• 1. The Council wil�consider the installation of such sanitary sewer improvement in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of$226,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 28th day of February,
2000 in the Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway, at 7:00 p.m. and the Clerk shall give
mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council this 24th day of January, 2000. '
