A RESOLUTION ORDERING
pREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR EAST LONG LAKE AREA
SA1�IITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS,the City of Orono is a municipal corporation existing under the laws
of the State of Minnesota; and �
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared a feasibility study to determine the
feasibility of serving the East Long Lake neighborhood with sanitary sewer; and
WHEREAS,on December 13�',1999 the City Council adopted ResolutionNo.4402
receiving the feasibility report and calling for a public hearing for East Long Lake sanitary sewer
• improvements; and
WHEREAS,ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing
was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 10`h day of January,2000, at which all persons
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does
hereby direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for the installation of sanitary
sewer for the East Long Lake neighborhood.
Adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on January 10,2000 by a vote
of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
