HomeMy WebLinkAbout#1661 Recorded Resolution 30705945805 CITY of ORONO RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL NO. 3070 A RESOLUTION -APPROVING A METES AND BOUNDS CLASS 1 SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT FOR SAMUEL A . .MCCLOUD, ET AL FILE NO. 1661 WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota~ and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within the City~ and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a subdivision by Samuel A. Mccloud, Big Island Properties, and Harold E. Farnes and Patty H. Farnes, (hereinafter "the applicants") of properties legally described as follows: That part of Government Lot 3 lying South of the most Southerly 1 ine of Tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 1294 and North of the Westerly extension of the Northerly line of Lot 8, Morse Island Park, Section 22, Township 117, Range 23, according t o the United States Government Survey thereof . AND That part of Government Lot 3, in Section 22, Township 117, Range 23, which lies South of the Westerly extension of the Northerly line of Lot 8, Morse Island Park, according to the United States Government Survey thereof. (hereinafter "the property")~ and WHEREAS, the applicants have completed all requirements of the City for a metes and bounds c lass 1 subdivision of a lot line rearrangement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that. the City Council of the City of Orono hereby approves the mete s and bounds class 1 subdivision of a lot line rearrangement for Samuel A. Mccloud, et al. according to the legal description shown on the Certificate of Survey by DeMars, Gabriel Land Surveyors, Inc. dated January 16, 1984, revised February 7, 1985 and attached to this resolution as Exhibit A, subject to the following conditions: Page 1 of 2 ' " CITY of ORONO RES OLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL NO. 3070 1. Parcel A and Parcel C as described on the Certificat e o f Survey attached to this resolution shall be legally comb ined for tax purposes and shall be designated as Big Is l and Record Lot No. 22 per Section 10.31 of the Municipal Code , subject to the pertinent ordinances thereof. 2. Parcel B shall be legally combined for tax purposes w i th Lots 6, 7 and 8, Morse Is land Park, and when combined unde r a special lot combination with Lot C, Morse Island Pa r k , this property shall be designated as Big Island Record Lot No. 16 per Section 10.31 of the Municipal Code, subject t o the pertinent ordinances thereof. 3. This resolution and the attached Certificate of Survey shal l be filed with the Hennepin County Recorder's office on o r ✓ before August 10, 1992. The approval granted by thi s Resolution shall expire if the filing has not been completed by the date specified above. In that event, it will be necessary to file a new application with the City of Oro no for subdivision review. Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota, on th i s day of February, 1992.
