Co., MN A 3 0 890 ►; I January 29, 1990 op ' ._ , , `' raj'/• • ..,, This system is Designed for a Type 1, six bedroom home and in accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Chapter 7090 and local ordinances. The soil was frozen to a depth of 18". The frost was removed by the builder with coal heat for 72 hours. The soils on this site are typical of SCS soils mapped - HcC2 - Hayden clay loam. A seasonally high water table was located at 12", 16", 18", 26" t 30", (mottled soil). Due to the seasonally high water table, a pressurized mound system will need to be installed. The bottom of the rock bed must be located at least 3' above the seasonally high water table. The soils at a depth of 12" & 18" have a percolation rate averaging 17.0 min/inch and are adequate for treating septic effluent. A pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent to the treatment area. The manifold and supply line pipe must have back drainage to the pumping chamber. The distribution pipes shall lave their ends capped. Be sure the rock and sand fill material are clean. The sod layer below the entire mounded area must be turned over, just break up the sod, be sure not to over work. The manifold and supply line pipe must have back drainage to the pumping chamber. The distribution pipes shall have their ends capped. Be sure the rock and sand fill material are clean. The sod layer below the entire mounded area must be turned over, just break up the sod, be sure not to over work. All neighboring wells are located more than 100' away from the proposed treatment area. Keep all heavy equipment off of the proposed treatment area before and after construction as much as possible. The treatment area should be marked off before construction. Soil and Percolation Tests CONT' D Septic SYltern Design With proper installation and maintenance, this system should have no problem in treating septic effluent effectively. Recommend to pump the septic tank every year if there is only 1 tank i every 2 years if there are 2 tanks. Steven B.
