A RESOLUTION RECOGN�ZING
�'�'��'� JAMES MOROWCZYNSKI �
FOR HIS TWENTY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE
F TO THE CITY AS A MEMBER
��t"x�H°�'�G� OF THE ORONO POLICE DEPARTMENT
RESOLUTION NO. L� � � �
WHEREAS, James Morowczynski has served the City with
distinction as a member of the Orono Police Department for 20 years; and
� WHEREAS,James Morowczynski began his employment with the
City as a full-time Police Officer on January 1, 1981, and served as a police
investigator for seven years; and �
WHEREAS, James Morowczynski was promoted to sergeant on
October 14, 1997; and
WHEREAS, James Morowczynski's dedication and abilities have
been recognized through many letters of commendation from the public; and
� WHEREAS, in his position, James Morowczynski has served the
City and its citizens with professionalism, compassion, and true commitment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City
Council does hereby recognize James Morowczynski for his twenty (20) years of
exemplary service to the City as a Police Officer.
. Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at the regular
meeting held this 8"'day of January, 2001.
