A Resolution Approving A Metes
. and Bounds Subdivision Application for ,
� � Victor E. Norton
Whereas, the City of Orono i:s a municipal corporation or-
' aanized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota;
and
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereafter
"City" ) has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, �
economic and safe development of land within the City; and �
Whereas, the City Council has considered the application
for a subdivision of lots 28 and 36 , Auditor' s Subdivision �
No . 203 of Victor E. �Norton and Mabel M. Norton, husband �
� and wife, (hereafter "subdividers" ) ; and
• Whereas the City has granted a variance to the area standard � � ._,_.
of the LR-lA zoning district based on the following findings:
l . Each newly created parcel has sufficient shoreline to -
satisfy zoning district standard of 200 ' shoreline width.
2 . Each newly created parcel has sufficient depth to permit
safe riparian use.
3 . The newly created riparian lots will be within 66 ' of
' their owners ' homestead lots.
4 . There is navigable access to the newly created riparian
lots.
Whereas, the subdividers have completed all requirements
of the city, including:
l . Execution of a Special Lot Combination with the City
providing certain limitations on the use, improvement
and sale of the newly created riparian lots.
2 . Payment to the City for the legal review and filing of
this subdivision and all documents related thereto in
the amount of $75 .00 .

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the City Council of
the City of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds division . �
of Victor E . Norton according to the legal description shown �
• on the Certificate of Survey by Gordon R. Coffin , dated,
revised January 24 , 1983 and attached to this resolution :
subjec� to the condition that the aforesaid division shall
be filed" with the Hennepin County Recorder ' s Office on or
before December 13 , 1983 , together with a certified original
copy of this Resolution . .
. The a�proval granted by this . Resolution shall expire if the
filing has not been completed by the date specified above.
In that event, it will be necessary to file a new application
with the City of Orono for subdivision review.
