' ���'.' '�f A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION AND FUNDING
REQUEST IN THE 1983 JOBS BILL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
' BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FOR COMMUNITY PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has executed a Joint Cooperation
Agreement with Hennepin County establishing participation in the
Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, Urban Hennepin County is entitled to. receive
$1,051,000 for the 1983 Jobs Bill Additiorial Community Development
Block Grant Appropriation; and
WHEREAS, the City has developed a proposal for the use of
1983 Jobs Bill funds; and � � '
" WHEREAS, the proposal for use of 1983 Jobs Bill funds has
been developed consistent with the 1983 Jobs Bill Statement of Objectives
and the Housing Community Development Act of 1974 , as amended.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Orono, Minnesota authorizes submittal of a request for funding
for the following projects: Crystal Bay and Stubbs Bay areas for
sanitary sewers to the Urban Hennepin County Ad Hoc Citizen Advisory
Committee for consideration for inclusion in th�ir funding recommendations
to the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular
meeting held May 23 , 1983 .
