Re: 225 North Ferndale - Sewer Hookup
(Building Permit #4090 - Addition & Remodeling)
Dear Mr. Bruce:
On September 27, 1979, during an inspection of the above property, I
found it hooked up to sewer and water on Chevy Chase Drive. The owner
of the adjacent property explained to me that the existing hookup must
be discontinued when the property changes owner or is divided. In
checking the plans for sewer and water of the new road under construction
in the Northgate Subdivision, I found that stubs are to be available
for this property. This letter is to confirm that the existing house
will be connected to service in this new road. There are a number of
items that must be done at the time of the sewer hookup:
1. Sewer and water hookup permits must be obtained and the
$425.00 SAC charge paid prior to issuance of the sewer
hookup permit.
2. At the time of hookup, the sewer must be plugged at the
cleanout at the lot line and inspected.
3. The existing water line must have curb box removed and
water line plugged and inspected.
On October 3, 1979, the water was shut off at the curb box near the
rear lot line to prevent problems with vandalism.
