The City of Orono ordains that axle weight limits are restricted on the
following streets in the City of Orono from March 15 , 1983 through May
15, 1983. Refuse collections vehicles shall be operated in accordance
with regulations as provided in Ordinance #114, 66 . 080 which states:
(1) No refuse collections vehicle shall be operated during the seasonal
restriction time where the gross weight on any single axle exceeds 14 ,000
pounds; and (2) No vehicles shall be operated upon any city road at any .
time where special posting specifically prohibits refuse collection
vehicles.
The following streets are limited to five ton axle limits:
