' RESOLUTION
APPROVING AN ORDINANCE
SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION
RS-SEASONAL RECREATIONAL ZONING DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Orono City Council on December 30 , 1982
has adopted Ordinance No. 246 , "An Ordinance Amending the
Municipal Code of Orono by Changing the Zoning District
Designation and Performance Standards Applied to Big Island, .
Mahpiy.ataIsland and Deering Island" , and -
WHEREAS, the Orono City Council has determined
that publication of the title and a summary of the ordin``ance
would clearly inform the public of the intent and effect
of- the ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Orono City Council has reviewed the
text of the ordinance summary attached hereto as Exhibit A
• , and finds that it clearly informs the public of the ordinances '
intent and effect.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council �
of the.City of Orono that the City C1erk shall publish the
title of the ordinance together with the attached summary,
. with notice that a printed copy of the ordinance is available
for inspection by any person at the City Administrative '
Office during normal office hours, and that publication
of the title and summary shall be deemed to fulfill all
legal publication requirements as completely as if the entire
ordinance has been published. Proof of publication shall
be attached to and filed with the original ordinance kept
in the City Clerk 's official records .
Approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Orono on the .�O day of �.����r��� , 1982; by a
vote of �f ayes and U nays.
