HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1437 - V � � d C�t� o� ORONO � � ' 1 � RESOWTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL . � NO. ,�/.� 7 • • � � � 1983 FEE SCHEDULE � WHEREAS, Ordinances 196` & 215 provide that all fees charged by the City of Orono for various services and applications be in the amount listed in the current "City Fee Schedule" ; and WHEREAS, said schedule is intended to be reviewed annually to ensure reasonable and proper relationship between the cost of service and the amount of each charge; and WHEREAS, the fee amounts listed herein are established as the minimum amount required to cover the actual costs of the services provided, � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Orono hereby establishes the following 1983 CITY FEE SCHEDULE. ;.� GENERAL PROVISIONS � 1. All scheduled amounts listed herein shall supercede and replace the amounts listed in the 1980 �chedule as amended, Resolutions No. 1128 , 1141 , 1172 , 1224 , 1264 , 1306 & 1378 . 2. New fees may be instituted and/or scheduled amounts may � be changed upon. adoption of a subsequent resolution to that effect. • 3. Amounts payable to the' City shall be in accordance with the schedule in effect at the time a complete application is received and/or at the time service is rendered. 4. In connection with any permit or procedure described herein, application of ordinance provisions may require the payment of fees for consultation with experts, professionals, or other qualified persons or for other matters which may result in the imposition of a fee greater than that listed in this fee schedule. 5. In the event of a conflict between this schedule and the terms of an ordinance, the ordinance shall prevail except that wherein a fee amount is specified in conflict with this Resolution, the amount listed herein shall be charged. If the applicable ordinance does not provide for a specific fee, the amount listed in this fee schedule shall prevail. Where multiple requests (such as variance and conditional use permit) are made concerning one project , the total fee sha11 be the sum of the fees for each separate request. The Zoning Administrator may determine that an application is likely to incur unusual additional costs for engineering or legal review in which case 32.653 requires the applicant � to deposit such additional sum with the City at the time of the initial application. Any such unusual charges are in addition to the application fee. Any such charges in excess of the amount deposited wi11 be billed to the applicant according to 32.652 . � All fees are a lication fees and are non-refundable after staff work has begun on t e app ication.
