This repair comes with a 10 year Contractor warranty covering any natural backups or intrusions of the line, as well as a 50 year Manufacturers warranty . These warranties do not apply to areas of pipe holding standing water. You will get many years of worry-free use of your sewer as this repair both structurally reinforces the line and prevents any root intrusion within the repair. Watch the video to better understand how our CIPP process works. Scope of Work We will descale approx 45' feet of the cast iron pipe from the stack access point. This process will restore the pipe to its original shape and diameter as much as possible, enhancing water flow and minimizing the risk of future blockages in the sewer line. We will perform Hydro-Jetting from the stack access to thoroughly clear the line of water and debris prior to the C.I.P.P. installation. This step is critical to ensure proper adhesion of the repair to the existing line and is necessary for a successful and reliable installation. We will install two Cured-In-Place Pipe (C.I.P.P.) repairs from the home foundation to the outside clean out at approx 46' and from the outside clean out to within one foot of the final joint before the city main. This C.I.P.P. repair will structurally reinforce the line and prevent future root intrusion. *Upon signing, this proposal is based on the information provided to us; therefore, it is contingent on our own site visit to verify the details of the project. Keeping driveways and walkways clear of snow and ice. • An authorized Point-Of-Contact either on site, or by phone and available throughout day of installation. • No minors under the age of 18 are permitted to be left unattended at the property. • Have water from a hose bib, electricity made available for our use. • We need full access of the home as we may need to enter different parts of the home to get to other drains, water lines and breaker boxes. • Pets: We go in and out of your home frequently during this process and may need to leave doors and/or windows open. You know your pet, keep them safe and out of the work zone. • We need sufficient cleared space to work. The path to our work area, and a 10ftx10ft area around the Installation Point, is to be cleared of storage and household items. • The epoxy we work with is time sensitive and we have to install it quickly, other contractors and individuals will have to yield to us. Scope of Work Amendments We provide the most accurate estimates we can, but at times an unknown may arise. The following is an outline of some possible, although unlikely, amendments that may occur. Changes in the scope of work are to be communicated and approved by Siri Olsen. POSSIBLE AMENDMENTS • Sewer Health - Health of the line has deteriorated, of greatly differs, from inspection video. Cost $TBD • CANCELLATION - If client is to Cancel or Change Dates within 24 hours of installation date a $2,000 amendment is added for a lost day. Changes beyond 24 hours result in no fee. • Groundwater - Heavy rainfall may cause water infiltration of your sewer line previously unbeknownst. In mild cases, this will result in the addition of a "pre-liner" charged at $6/foot if viable access is available. In severe cases, this will result in a rescheduling of the repair to a future date. • Delay in Work - Labor charged at $500/hour for delays up to 2 hours. • Mobilization Fee of $2,000/day for full day loss. • Installation point access not available per scope of work • Conditions of "What we need from you" not met (see above) I, Siri Olsen, acknowledge and understand the "What we need from you" portion as well as the possible "Scope of Work Amendments" above. Approval:___________ What to expect from us • Scheduling- We are at the mercy of mother nature. Extreme cold (sub 10°) and inclement weather may delay our scheduling. We will do our best in being proactive in these instances and there is no fee for these reschedules. • We will use floor covers to protect your floors. • If there is carpet in the work area it may get wet. This is clean water we use for the install. We will do our best to dry it. • If there is carpet around the cleanout it may get stained from epoxy. • We will have doors and windows left open for hoses and fresh air. • Painted floors are tricky for us. Typically they do not hold up to heavy use from our equipment and constant back and forth. We do our best to be kind to them. Marvel Sewer and Drain will not be held liable for painted floors. • A standard install takes between 5-10 hours. We land the liner within 1-2' of destination (depending on sewer length). • Cure in Place Pipe (CIPP) repair is not a resolution to bellied portions of sewer line. Any currently bellied sections will still exist within the line. Payment Payment is due upon completion of the project unless specifically noted below. We accept Cash, Check or Credit Card. Financing options through our partner GreenSky are available upon request. If using a City Program for payment assistance enrollment will be verified by Marvel prior to booking.
