RESOLUTION APPROVING TITLE TRANSFER TO
METROPOLITAN WASTE CONTROL COMMISSION ,
FOR PORTION OF TREATMENT WORKS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Orono deeded property to the
Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWCC) for a treatment
works plant, with the understanding that once the MWCC had no
further use for the property it would revert back to the City
by deed; and
WHEREAS, the MWCC has no further need for the majority
of the treatment works property originally deeded to it by the
City of Orono; and
WHEREAS, the MWCC wishes to deed back to the City of
Orono the entire piece of property originally deeded to the
MWCC as shown in the attached deed, Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono wishes to deed back to
the MWCC a portion of the same property with an easement for
• driveway purposes as shown in the attached deed, Exhibit B.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of Orono hereby approves the title transfer of a
portion of the treatment works plant and an easement for drive-
way purposes to the MWCC as shown in the attached Exhibit B.
