Dear Mr. Nitz:
As you are well aware, your septic/holding tanks were discharging
directly into the pond on Friday, August 15, 1980, when I made a
progress inspection of your incomplete yet inhabited h.-me. While
I assume this is a temporary condition, which must be alleviated
immediately, it is imperative that you complete the system, i.e.
install pump, pump line and drainfield as soon as possible to
eliminate future discharges of this nature. Frankly, from the
condition of the tanks when I was there, I am surprised if you do
not have sewage all over your basement.
