CITY of ORONO
Post Office Box 66+CryaW Bay, Minneeota S,iiZ;f•Municipal Offices
On the North Shore of Lake A/eaaetonka
April 3, 1987
David Nitz
950 Red Sandstone Road #41
Vail, Colorado 81658
RE: Building Permit for Proposed Residence at 2811 Farview
Dear Mr. Nitz,
We have completed a zoning review, including septic, grading, and
drainage concerns for your proposed residence at 2811 Farview
Lane, based on the information you submitted. In addi ion, we
have completed the building plan review for your project.
Your proposal is approved under the following conditions which
you must agree to and acknowledge in writing before the permit
will be issued:
1. House location - as we have discussed, it is necessary to
relocate the ?souse 15' to the south in order to create a
suitable setback distance between your house and septic
system. Although we agreed earlier that this could be
acc-)mplished without an additional staking, I now note that
your EAcavator (who started the excavation without your
having obtained the permit, to be discussed below) was not
aware of this change when he started. Giver_ the apparent
lack of communication between you and your subcontractors,
we will now require that the revised house location be
staked and certified by your surveyor before the permit is
issued.
2. Septic concerns - as we have discussed, the septic system
as pruiosed by Gary Rathbun is suitable in conjunction with
specific grading measures as follows (see sketch attached):
a) The mound system shall be
placement of any fill northerly
intend to raise the grade in your
that it would exceed the norzual
rock bed of the mound, then yoi
placin, a greater depth of sand
have discussed, so that not more
over the rock bed
installed prior
to
of the house.
