MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD AUGUST 12, 1985. PAGE 1 <br />ATTENDANCE 7:00 PM <br />CONSENT AGENDA* <br />The Orono Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Butler, Councilmembers Adams and <br />Frahm. Councilmembers Grabek and Hammerel were absent. <br />The following represented the City Staff: City Administrator <br />Bernhardson, Public Works Coordinator Gerhardson, Building <br />& Zoning Administrator Mabusth, Asst. Zoning Administrator <br />Gaffron, and City Recorder Peterson. City Attorney Blatz and <br />City Engineer Cook were also present. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Adams, seconded by <br />Councilmember Frahm, to approve the Consent Agenda subject <br />to removing Item #20 (Cable TV Report -Franchising Monies) <br />from the Consent Agenda per Councilmember Adam's request. <br />Motion, Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Adams, seconded by <br />Councilmember Frahm, to approve the Minutes of the July 22, <br />1985 regular Council meeting as submitted. Motion, Ayes <br />(3), Nays (0). <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Adams, seconded by <br />Councilmember Frahm, to approve the appointment of Terry D. <br />Morse, 2080 Spates Ave., to the Park Commission. Motion, <br />Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION <br />DISTRICT REPORT* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Adams, seconded by <br />Councilmember Frahm, to accept City Administrator <br />Beirthardson's memos regarding LMCD Residential Boat Storage <br />Amendment and Orono's Representative to LMCD. Motion, Ayes <br />(3), Nays (0). <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Planning Commission Representative J. Diann Goetten had no <br />comments at this time. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reported that many residents <br />of Bohn's Point have concerns and are objecting to the <br />possibility of the Krut.zig Property (1629 Bohns Point Road) <br />being in the Parade of Homes. Bernhardson stated that these <br />residents have signed and submitted petition to prohibit the <br />property from participating in the Parade of Homes. <br />Bernhardson further stated that. staff has discussed this <br />matter with Mr. Krutzig regarding possible steps he could <br />take to resolve concerns such as policing the parking <br />situation. Bernhardson noted that at this time, there is no <br />ordinance• prohibiting this type of activity. <br />
